مردی به دلیل مرگ یک فیل باردار که به خاطر خوردن غذای حاوی ترقه در هند جانش را از دست داده بود دستگیر شد.
به گزارش سایت خبری رسانه سه، یک فیل باردار به خاطر خوردن غذای حاوی ترقه در هند جانش را از دست داد.
این فیل هفته گذشته وارد روستایی در نزدیکی پارک ملی سایلنت ولی در پالاکاد شده بود.
در آنجا بود که فیل مذکور یک آناناس را که مقداری ترقه عمداً در آن کار گذاشته شده بود می خورد.
روستاییان از تکنیک استفاده از مواد منفجره در داخل خوردنی ها برای دور نگه داشتن حیوانات وحشی از خانه های خود استفاده می کنند.
بدین ترتیب ترقه ها در دهان وی منفجر شده و فیل باردار بعد از چند روز تحمل درد و رنج بالاخره در روز ۲۷ می در حالی که در داخل یک رودخانه ایستاده بود جان سپرد.
چند روز بعد یک جمع کننده شیره کائوچو به خاطر تعبیه مواد منفجره در داخل غذا برای دور نگه داشتن حیوانات وحشی از روستا دستگیر شد.
این دستگیری پس از آن رخ داد که سه مظنون یک روز قبل مورد بازجویی قرار گرفته بودند.
علیرغم این دستگیری، تلاش برای شناسایی و دستگیری دیگر عاملان مرگ فیل باردار و موارد مشابه همچنان ادامه دارد.
تصاویر منتشر شده از فیل باردار در حالی که در رودخانه ولییار ایستاده و خرطوم و دهان مجروحش به زیر آب رفته موجی از اعتراض و خشم را در مردم هند به راه انداخته است.
کالبدشکافی نشان می دهد که این فیل حدود ۱۵ سال داشته اما روزها غذا نخوردن به دلیل زخم های دهانش باعث شده که کوچک تر از یک فیل ۱۵ ساله به نظر برسد.
این فیل بعد از روزها گرسنگی و تشنگی، در حالی که بسیار ضعیف شده بود، برای دور کردن پشه و مگس از زخم هایش خود را به رودخانه می رساند و در آنجا به دلیل ورود آب به ریه جانش را از دست می دهد.
دو فیل اهلی شده برای خارج کردن این فیل قبل از مرگ به درون رودخانه فرستاده شدند اما تلاش های آن ها برای بیرون آوردن فیل مادر که دهان، زبان و آرواره اش به شدت آسیب دیده بود ناکام مانده و در نهایت مرگ فیل مادر به همه چیز پایان داد.
گفته می شود که مردم محلی ترقه را با میوه و یا چربی حیوانات ترکیب کرده تا حیوانات را از مناطق روستایی دور کنند.
هنوز تحقیقات در مورد علت دقیق مرگ این فیل و دیگر مقصران آن ادامه دارد.

مسئولان منطقه حفاظت شده جسد این فیل را از آب خارج کرده و به درون جنگل برده و سوزاندند.
اما همانطور که گفته شد ویدیو و تصاویر منتشر شده از لحظات آخر عمر این فیل مادر موجی از اعتراض، خشم و واکنش را در شبکه های اجتماعی داخل و خارج از هند در پی داشته که با تصاویر و کامنت های خود اعتراضشان به این خشونت غیرقابل بخشش نسبت به حیوانات در هند را ابراز کرده اند.
